May 5, 2020 —Sleepy Hollow, NY, May 5, 2020 — Pamela Klapproth, Executive Director and CEO of Kendal on Hudson, proudly announced the community’s donation to the Community Opportunity Center of Sleepy Hollow and Tarrytown to support the residents of the village.
Kendal on Hudson staff members organized a food drive to help the Community Opportunity Center of Tarrytown. Generous staff and residents donated 215 items of food to the center. In addition, Kendal on Hudson donated two truckloads of the items most needed including oatmeal, boxed milk, rice, dried beans, pasta and tuna.
“Giving back to the local community is one of the values that Kendal is committed to. It just makes sense to support our neighbors” said Fred Coppola, Director of Dining Services at Kendal on Hudson. “That staff and residents are willing to donate on their own shows that they really live the values of the organization.”
