COVID-19 Update

Because COVID-19 has become pervasive throughout Westchester County, we are continuing to take precautions to limit the spread of this dangerous virus. We are strongly and actively encouraging our residents, staff and families to continue practicing sound infection-control procedures, including thorough handwashing, social distancing and self-isolation. In short, we are acting as if anyone might have the virus, even if they are not presenting symptoms. Kendal on Hudson administration will ensure, to the best of our ability, that any resident or staff who is known to have been in contact with a positive COVID case, and has therefore been “exposed”, will be alerted.

The CDC now recommends that all people wear a “face covering” when out in public. We continue to manage our supplies of PPE but have been supplying face masks to residents and staff. Homemade masks and bandanas are being distributed as face coverings as we receive them. If you are interested in donating masks or bandanas, please reach out via email to hotline@kohud.kendal.org.
