At 96 years old, Muriel Fox is far from slowing down. The pioneering feminist, who spent decades advocating for women’s rights, has just published her first book, The Women’s Revolution: How We Changed Your Life. Released on June 18, the book chronicles the achievements of second-wave feminism and serves as a powerful reminder of the battles fought and won by Fox and her contemporaries.

Her tireless efforts were recently recognized by the Westchester County Board of Legislators, which declared June 24th as Muriel Fox Day, honoring her crucial role in advancing equal rights for women. Fox, a cherished Kendal on Hudson resident, began writing the book at age 94, driven by the frustration that many young people today are unaware of the movement’s legacy. She was recently featured in the River Journal, highlighting her remarkable journey and ongoing commitment to the cause.
