Live
in the Heart of the Hudson River Valley
The Hudson
River Valley offers a rich mix of history, legend, present-day
cultural activities, fascinating historic houses, churches, and
gardens - all located along one of the world's great rivers. Rebirth
and growth are evident in the increase in cultural and recreational
opportunities as river towns reclaim old manufacturing sites and
revitalize their business districts. Much of the planning and
rebuilding focuses on strolling, dining, and shopping - all taking
advantage of the spectacular views across the Hudson. Each village
conducts its own street fairs and park concerts; the Art groups
and historic sites hold many special events throughout the year.
