High Quality Services for Independent Living

Kendal communities seek to enhance the quality of life and independence of residents by providing high-quality services and health care and enabling resident-driven lifestyles, so that each resident may realize his or her full potential.

Hudson0173MFox2014In every area of its work, Kendal is guided by its published Values and Practices which are, in turn, rooted in basic Quaker values. Please click on the link to view our Values and Practices.

The Kendal system relies not only on the energies and good will of its staff members, board members, and residents but also on the exchange of ideas with others in the field of service to older persons. Kendal takes an active role in public policy issues and participates in professional associations.

From your first day at Kendal, trained professional staff will be working with you to support healthy aging, autonomy and independence.

The Resident Care Center is a resource for residents, wellness information and where regular preventive care is available through the services of a nurse practitioner and independent physicians who choose to practice at Kendal on Hudson.

You have an opportunity to participate in Vitalize 360, an individualized health and wellness assessment that allows our clinical staff to work with you.
